Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Region 6 is now looking for Information Officer II and Administrative Assistant II under the Cost of Service arrangement.
In a post online, DSWD-6 announced that the position for Information Officer will be under the Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center. Information Officer II – Salary Grade 15 at P33,575 monthly
DSWD said that applicants for this position needs to be a graduate of Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Development Communication, Mass Communications, Journalism, or other Social Science. He/She must have 4 hours of relevant training preferably on Social Marketing, Development of Communication Strategies and production of IEC materials and other relevant training along Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRMD) policies, guidelines and program implementation.
At least 1-year of relevant work experience related to Social Marketing, Communications, and other relevant experience in the implementation of DRRM programs, projects and activities is also needed. No Civil Service Eligibility required.
For competencies, applicants must be highly proficient in MS Office and other technologies and applications relative to IEC materials production, excellent in decision-making skills, keen attention to details, outstanding people-skills, excellent written and oral communication, competent ability to provide technical assistance and expert advice, excellent analytical thinking, willing to work long hours, to go on filed work and to handle multi task of work, able to work harmoniously, competently and effectively even under pressure.
The accepted applicant will be assigned at DRMD, DSWD Regional Office VI.
Administrative Assistant – Salary Grade 8 at P18,251 monthly
DSWD posted that applicants must have Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job/completion of two-year studies in college, with at least four (4) hours of relevant training and at least one (1) year of relevant experience. No Civil Service Eligibility required.
Competencies include Delivering Excellent Results, Personal Effectiveness, Commitment to credible Public Service, Records Management, Basic Computer Skills, Written and Oral Skills, Facilitating Skills and Report Writing.
