Summertime is officially a Halo-Halo season in this tropical country, and Mang Inasal is once again leading the ‘observance’ by declaring March 18 as “National Halo-Halo Sarap Day.”
We all are salivating for a bowl of shaved ice mixed with sweet beans, coconut, ube, sago, gulaman, tubers, fruits, milk and ice cream as a dessert or snack, to refresh ourselves this summer. And I’m glad that Mang Inasal is promoting this Pinoy favorite dessert in their stores.
“Alang-alang sa Team Halo-Halo, we are launching the National Halo-Halo Sarap Day on Sunday,” said Edgar Timbungco, Public Relations Manager of Mang Inasal, during the press meet at their store in Valeria, Iloilo City.
“This is actually the second year that Mang Inasal devotes a day in March for more Pinoys to enjoy the Halo-Halo,” he added.
On the National Halo-Halo Sarap Day, Mang Inasal will treat its customers with discounts whenever they place ala carte orders of Halo Halo, or those which are not part of any combo meal.
Valid for dine in or takeout in any Mang Inasal store nationwide, the Mang Inasal Halo-Halo small and regular sizes will be sold at special discounts only on that day. The small order will cost only Php35 from the usual Php53 while the regular size will be sold at Php55 from the usual Php73.
Our favorite Pinoy barbecue brand also launched the “Halo-Halo Hapon” campaign in a bid to convince the public to make the Mang Inasal Pinoy Halo-Halo their favorite afternoon merienda fare.
The campaign was launched through an online video that showcased a catchy jingle and infectious dance moves led by celebrity dancers Zeus Collins and Dawn Chang. The video aimed to make more people aware of the “so creamy, so sarap” Mang Inasal Halo-Halo, and entice them to go to Mang Inasal stores to have their favorite merienda. Watch:
For the duration of the “Halo-Halo Hapon” campaign, Mang Inasal stores in various parts of the country be offering discounted prices whenever their customers avail of regular Mang Inasal Pinoy Halo-Halo between 3 and 5 pm, Mondays thru Fridays.
MANG INASAL 500TH STORE
Mang Inasal also announced that in April, they will be opening their milestone 500th store in brand’s hometown Iloilo.
The top Pinoy fast-food restaurant that serves favorite chicken inasal started its humble beginnings at Robinsons Place Iloilo in December 2003.
The 500th store will be serving Ilonggos with very own chicken barbecue, popular unlimited rice and authentic dining experience at the Iloilo City Centre along West Diversion Road.
MEDIA DINNER
Mang Inasal executives made the announcements during a casual dinner with the members of Iloilo media and bloggers. Conversation’s made over chicken inasal, bangus sisig, palabok, halo-halo and other Pinoy favorites, of course!
Hope to see you feasting on chicken inasal and yummy Halo-Halo in one of Mang Inasal’s 500 stores nationwide this summer!
