The ALS A&E Test, formerly known as the Non-formal Education A&E Test, is a paper and pencil test designed to measure the competencies of those who have neither attended nor finished elementary or secondary education in the formal school system.
The test for 2016 was first scheduled January 2017 but was later on postponed on November 19 for Luzon test takers and November 26 for Visayas and Mindanao.
When will results be released? The target date was included in the memorandum issued by Undersecretary Jesus Lorenzo Mateo to Regional Directors and Schools Division Superintendents.
Memorandum OM-PFO-2017-1277 states that the results of 2016 ALS A&E Test will on or before January 31, 2018.

UPDATE JANUARY 31, 2018: DepEd failed to deliver on its promise to release the results today. Based on communication from DepEd Central Office, they are still on process of printing the Certificates of Rating, checking the test papers, and preparing of memo about it. Hopefully it will be finished in the next few days, or within the week.
We will post the complete names of those who successfully passed the test here as soon as it is announced, so keep checking this page for updates.

The memorandum also announces the schedule for the next ALS A&E Test which will be on February 11, 2018 for Luzon Cluster, and February 18, 2018 for Visayas and Mindanao Cluster.
UPDATE 1/18/18: Deped issued a Memo moving the 2017 ALS Test to March 2018.
I think it will still follow the test registration system and requirements of the previous exam, as in the 2016 ALS A&E, here.
