University of San Agustin graduates top Medtech Board Exam, with two passers in top 10.
Once again, University of San Agustin (USA) in Iloilo City is one of the top performing schools in the recent Medical Technologists Licensure Examination with 100% passing rate, and two of its graduates named as topnotchers.
All of USA’s 141 graduates successfully passed the Medtech Board Exam given this September 22-23, 2018 by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Board of Medical Technology. Moreover, Eldy Villanoy Barrientos got 91.70% rating and Justin Albert Gamboa Escamilla had 89.80% to place 3rd and 9th, respectively.
On Wednesday, PRC released the results with a total of 4,718 passers out of 6,070 examinees passing the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medical Technology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Tuguegarao.
UST graduate Lorenz Masajo Barro was named top 1 with rating of 92.10 percent. Here’s the rest of topnotchers:

Passers may register online at PRC website for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Those who failed to pass the board examination for Medical Technology but had obtained a general rating of at least 70% can register as Medical Laboratory Technician.
